History of the
Club
Getxo Bela Eskola
Committed to the
Sea Culture
More than 15 years ago we were born in Getxo with a clear goal: to bring the sea closer to everyone from a human, educational and accessible approach. We are a non-profit association and a social project that understands sailing as a tool for learning, coexistence and personal transformation.
Over the years we have grown, professionalized and expanded activities, always with the same foundation: putting people at the center. The Eskola remains a close, simple place built from the community, and our path remains focused on accompanying people to experience the sea in a simple, safe and authentic way.
We are not a company, and we do not act as such. As a non-profit association, everything that comes in is reinvested in improving the project: renewing boats, training instructors, maintaining the facilities and expanding activities.

What defines us

Our Facilities
Located in a privileged area of the Getxo Marina, a few meters from Ereaga beach and with direct access to the Abra. We have an audiovisual classroom, well-kept changing rooms, large outdoor space, workshop and chill-out area with a small sauna.

Own Pontoon
The pontoon is our direct link to the sea. The fleet is varied: dinghy sailing, cruisers, windsurf, big SUP, paddle surf, canoes and support boats.

Our Philosophy
Here technique and care go hand in hand, because we understand that learning to sail is also learning to trust.
